Council of Churches and Religious Organizations Discusses Morality, Church-State Relations

Kyiv -- At a meeting on 24 June 2005 in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations discussed social morality and church-state and interreligious relations. The council prepared a letter to Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko and the Ukrainian Parliament and NGOs asking to address the problems of “double registration” of statutes of religious organizations and charities and the development of church-state relations.
