Charity Folk-ball "Turnstile" to be Held At UCU

On May 31, 2008, the Ukrainian Catholic University extends an invitation to the charity folk-ball "Perelaz" (Turnstile). The purpose of the folk-ball is to collect funds to establish an educational scholarship named after Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, which will support the best students of UCU.

At this evening guests will have the possibility to dance to the music of the folk-band Burdon, to listen to the singing of the family of Nina Matvienko, to purchase at an auction the works of noted Ukrainian artists, and to watch a theatrical performance. A special program is planned also for the little guests of the feast.

The ball will start at 18:00 at the UCU building on Khutorivka St. 35, Lviv.
