Committee on Matters of Culture and Spirituality to Consider Issue of Foreign Pastors

Kyiv—Head of Parliament’s Committee on Matters of Culture and Spirituality Volodymyr Yavorivskyi commented on a recent bill proposing the prohibition of foreigners from holding leading posts in neo-cult organizations.

According to Yavorivskyi, the bill, which was initially introduced by deputy of Our Ukraine-People’s National Self-Defense bloc Hennadii Moskal, has not yet been considered by the committee as he has not even seen the text of the bill.

“But the fact that we are flooded with foreigners “active” in the society is true,” said Yavorivskyi. “I am sure that there is a problem, and the fact that Moskal noticed it is very good, and now let us read the bill.”
