Regional Justice Department of Odesa Sues Charitable Organization

Odesa—The Odesa region’s Department of Justice is suing “Bright House,” a charitable organization that works with troubled and homeless youth, according to a story posted by RISU’s Ukrainian-language webpage on 19 March 2008. The department is accusing ”Bright House” of violating its own statutes by granting free shelter to homeless children, and wants to liquidate the charity’s assets. “Bright House” considers the suit groundless and does not to recognize the department’s demands.
