New Students Group Embassy of Christ Formed in Ternopil

Ternopil —Foreign Protestant students of Ternopil National Economics University (ТNEU) have organized a new Christian group, Embassy of Christ, in Ternopil. The organization was formed on the initiative of several students who are members of a similar organization abroad. According to its members, it is the only Christian community for foreign students. RISU’s Ukrainian-language web page posted the story on 5 February 2008.

According to a report by the information agency “20 minutes,” on 4 February, the students for the first time distributed on campus invitations to passers-by to attend a service at the Embassy of Christ.

The Embassy meets in the lecture hall of a student hostel of the university, having been given permission by university management. Invitations specify that services are celebrated each Sunday.
