UOC-MP Orthodox Has New Bishop

Kyiv – On 23 December 2007, at the Kyivan Monastery of the Caves, in co-service with the priests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP), Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan), head of the UOC-MP, conducted a liturgy during which he ordained Archimandrite Feodor (Mamasuyev), Bishop of Mukachevo and Uzhhorod.

As it was reported earlier, at its last session on 21 December 2007, the Holy Synod of the UOC-MP dismissed Archbishop Mark (Petrovets) of Khustiv and Vynohradiv, who temporarily managed the Mukachevo Eparchy.
