Poles Will Restore Wall Paintings at Armenian Church in Lviv

Lviv – On 17 August 2007, some 25 agents gathered for the first meeting of the Revitalization Agency in western Ukraine’s Lviv to discuss the city’s restoration strategy. A well-known British stone restorer together with two other professionals from Turkey and Great Britain were scheduled to arrive in Lviv the day after, to join the discussion and take part in the restoration work, as Oles’ Kryskiv, the director of the Revitalization Agency, reported to zaxid.net.

“Very soon, Polish specialists in restoration will start restoring the wall paintings at the Armenian Church. Also, they will monitor the level of humidity, temperature and pressure with the help of the equipment the Agency is planning to install,” he said.

Kryskiv added that after the stone workshop they are going to have a seminar on wood work.
