Interdenominational Relations Stable in Ukraine, Says Defense Minister02.11.2006, [11:52] // Church-state relations //
Lviv – “Ukraine is a stable country in terms of interethnic and interdenominational relations and in 15 years we have not had any serious conflict on that basis. I hope that we will not have them with the current government, either.” So said Ukrainian Minister of Defense Anatolii Hrytsenko during an official visit to western Ukrainian Lviv on 26 October 2006.
Autocephalous Orthodox to Collect Information on Ukrainian Life in 1930-1950

Kharkiv – The statements of eyewitnesses to the lives of simple Ukrainians from 1930 to 1950 will be published under the title “How We Were Made a Soviet People.” The project was initiated by Archbishop Ihor (Isichenko) of Kharkiv and Poltava of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (UAOC). RISU’s Ukrainian-language site posted the news on 31 October 2006.
