The Center for Apologetics Research
The Center for Apologetics Research in Kyiv was founded in spring 1999. In Saint Petersburg , a similar Center has functioned since 1993. It is a Protestant Evangelical service with a full-time staff. The aim of the service is to provide believers with information and essential knowledge, so that they can differentiate truth from lies, know about various religious movements, defend their beliefs, and witness to cults.
The Center for Religious Information and Freedom
The Center for Religious Information and Freedom is a non-profit, nongovernmental social organization. The center was founded by decree of the Ukrainian Association of Experts in Religion. Their aim is to provide current and unbiased information about the state of religious life in the world and in Ukraine , as well as the state of religious freedom, peculiarities of dogma, and the activities and history of various confessions. The main objective of the center is the establishment of tolerance and democracy in modern Ukrainian society, in the sphere of interreligious relations in particular.
Kharkiv Group for Human Rights Protection The Kharkiv Group for Human Rights Protection (KGHRP) was registered as a separate juridical person in November 1992, though it was known as the Human Rights Protection Group of Kharkiv “Memorial” since 1988. Its activity is also directed at protecting religious freedom and studying legislation in the sphere of religion.
The Ukrainian Center for Economic and Political Studies named after Olexander Razumkov
The Ukrainian Center for Economic and Political Studies named after Olexander Razumkov (UCEPS) is a non-profit social organization, which does research in the following areas: Internal Politics; Social and Economic Development of Ukraine; Power Engineering; Administration; International Economics; External Politics; National Security and Defense; Military Construction; International and Local Security; Peacemaking Activities. Annually, the center conducts research in the field of religion and regularly arranges round-table discussions “Religion and the State in Ukraine : Problems of Relations”.
